About
I am an aspiring graphic designer who thrives on embracing challenges in new environments and stepping out of my comfort zone, a connection that highlights my status as an immigrant who came to Canada at the beginning of my twenties, entirely on my own.
I moved to Canada to experience a new world and to nurture my innate skills. My problem-solving abilities transform into a joy for web design, allowing me to concentrate and pinpoint coding issues effectively. Using my graphic design skills, I aim to create heart-touching artwork inspired by my global travels, exploring both contemporary and retro design styles. I also blend the rich cultures of Korea and Canada to infuse uniqueness into my designs.
My strong focus on goals reflects my competitive spirit, conscientious approach, and persistent work ethic. My status also attests that my goal-oriented personality played a pivotal role in achieving my Permanent Residency in Canada without any sponsorship. This accomplishment underscores my determination and adaptability in navigating new challenges and environments.
With a year of experience in graphic and web design as a Graphic Design intern at Canyon Entertainment Group, I earned a promotion to the role of Design Coordinator. In this capacity, I provide valuable feedback to fellow interns, assisting in enhancing their design skills for diverse projects such as social media posts, eBooks, and promotional brochures. Possessing strong fundamentals, I can execute creatively in alignment with established brand parameters and principles.
