LOOKBOOK

  • by
The fashion lookbook is laid out on a marble floor, with the inner pages casting window shadows.

The project aims to create a fashion lookbook for my own brand, Stylishe, which sells various female fashion items.
I managed the photography, copywriting,
and design layouts independently.

The fashion lookbook was assigned as an individual project conducted in a studio, involving photoshoots with various lighting styles. The photos were captured using 55mm and 85mm Nikon lenses, and I personally prepared the fashion items. The project aimed to showcase a fall ambiance with warm, casual styles as the overall concept. Additionally, the fashion lookbook serves to introduce new arrivals and attract a broader audience
for the target demographic.

The fashion lookbook features a cover page and inner pages showcasing a knolling layout. The lookbooks are elegantly laid out on a brown marble floor, with shadows adding a touch of depth to the overall presentation.

Effective communication with the female model, who assisted in the project, was crucial for its successful completion. Two photoshoot sessions were conducted, with the first one focusing on a flat layout to showcase a knolling concept. Subsequently, the model was invited to the studio the following week for figure photos.

After successfully completing the photo shoot, I had to undertake the tasks of editing, copywriting, and designing the actual fashion lookbook. The finalized lookbook was exported in both press-ready PDF and accessible PDF formats, complying with the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) standards. All aspects, including the size of the copywriting, colour contrast, and alt-text for the photos, were meticulously executed according to these standards. The lookbook was then printed at a professional print shop, providing me with a gratifying experience of seeing a tangible result of the design work I had invested in.

I also worked on the SEO for the social media with the fashion lookbook content. It was a big project to work on three different things at the same time. However, the outcome gave me really satisfying experience and I enjoyed working on this project to create my own brand, “Stylishe.”

Here is the final product in 3D flip book format!
