Mini Brands

  • by

Collaborated on a project with three team members to capture creative photoshoots
in conjunction with a design project.

During our collaborative team project, Libby and Rhandell directed the project with a creative brief. They chose to focus on advertising Mini Brands, aiming to evoke cherished memories of young women in their 20s and 30s, tapping into their inner child through a treasure hunt theme inspired by Dora the Explorer.

The skillfully crafted design layout, created by me and my talented teammate, Momone Goto, who excels in graphic design, reflects our dedication to high-quality visuals. We were tasked with a photo shoot in a studio with different lighting styles to showcase the best quality of the product. I used a 300mm long lens to capture the highest quality and creative shots of miniature products. The collaboration of Libby, Rhandell, and others infused unique ideas during our photoshoot sessions, actively contributing to the creative synergy throughout the process.

Consequently, with the photos we took, we meticulously designed our magazine and billboard ads, along with a web banner, to maintain brand consistency.
The web banner, formatted in GIF, is designed to play automatically on a website, serving as a captivating tool to attract our target audience.

My role in this project was to serve as a professional photographer, providing finalized photography to my teammates, Rhandell and Libby. After completing the photo shoots, Momone and I collaborated on designing our own layout for Mini Brands’ ad campaign. I contributed various opinions on taglines, typography, colour schemes, and decorative elements to enhance the ads, ensuring cohesive design layouts. As a result, the project progressed smoothly and achieved high-quality outcomes for the collaborative team effort.

The project was successfully presented in front of others
and had a great experience working with other teams.
