WEDDING
INVITATION
ILLUSTRATIONS
Illustration work on provided photography
from the clients for their wedding invitations
to enhance the aesthetics.
This project was commissioned by my younger brother and my best friend, who were getting married in October 2023. They have been together for more than 10 years, and I embraced the honoured opportunity to showcase my skills, helping to reduce their wedding expenses.
They captured many raw photos with their camera in Korea and sent them to me for editing. As they lacked expertise in camera settings, the pictures were not properly exposed. Consequently, I utilized Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to correct lighting and enhance the overall quality, cleaning up backgrounds to enhance the photos.
Subsequently, we discussed the artistic style they desired, and they shared colour schemes and decorative ideas to create a cute and simple aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from Instagram samples, we finalized the concept.
Upon customizing their designs, I incorporated blur and texture into the sky for a more realistic feel, completing the project in just 3-4 days. Towards the conclusion, they requested the removal of the date from the poster, emphasizing that names were the focal point. I promptly deleted the date and finalized the design to meet their specifications.
It was a pleasure to contribute to their wedding and offer assistance with the skills I am currently developing. The project was not only heart-touching but also incredibly meaningful to me.

and my husband’s sister considered all our opinions and created this beautiful artwork in a short period. It was used for our wedding invitation for our small wedding.
This was the best wedding gift ever!”

I also applied my design skills by creating illustrations for my wedding photo (on the left) and designing a wedding invitation as a gift for my friend (on the right). They were very pleased with and appreciative of the outcome. Furthermore, she has decided to use the design for her upcoming wedding in 2024.
